Scope of Services

The Tutor will provide tutoring services in the subjects agreed to (Math, Reading, Science, or Writing).

Sessions will be conducted in person and/or online as agreed to during the consultation and enrollment process.

Scheduling and Attendance

Sessions will occur on the agreed-upon dates and times.

The Client agrees to ensure the student’s attendance at scheduled sessions. If a student arrives late the session will still end at the originally scheduled time to accommodate other clients. Clients are responsible for picking up students promptly at the end of the session. A grace period of 5 minutes will be allowed. After this time a late fee of $10 dollars per 10 minutes will be charged. If late pick ups occur repeatedly the Tutor reserves the right to terminate services.

Cancellation Notice

Any changes or cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.

Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded or rescheduled

If the Tutor cancels a session, the session must be rescheduled for a mutually agreed-upon date and time.

Payment Terms

Payments are due at the time of booking. Refund and Cancellation Policy Refund for Prepaid Packages:

A partial refund will be issued for unused sessions if the Client cancels the package with a 7 day notice.

The refund will be calculated at a prorated rate based on the number of unused sessions.

Administrative and Cancellation Fees:

A $50 administrative fee will be charged for processing cancellations.

A cancellation fee equal to 10% of the unused portion of the package will also be deducted from the refund.

Non-Refundable Situations:

Refunds for prepaid packages will not be provided if the required 7 day notice is not given.

Missed sessions without prior notice are considered forfeited and are non-refundable.

No refunds or make up time will be given for late arrivals.

Responsibilities

Tutor’s Responsibilities:

Provide professional, individualized instruction tailored to the student’s needs. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Client’s Responsibilities:

Ensure the student’s attendance and active participation.

Provide necessary materials or access to online platforms, as needed. Ensures on time arrival and pick up to and from sessions.

Liability

The Tutor is not responsible for the student’s performance beyond tutoring sessions or for unforeseen outcomes. The Client agrees that the Tutor’s liability is limited to the value of the unused portion of the prepaid package.

Confidentiality

All information about the student’s academic performance and personal details will remain confidential and will not be shared without prior consent.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with a 7-day written notice. Fees for any unused prepaid sessions will be refunded, less applicable administrative and cancellation fees, as per the refund policy.

Agreement to Terms

Dr. O’s Educational Services LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page and the “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly, Clients are encouraged to review these Terms and Conditions periodically to stay informed of any updates. Continued use of our services after any amendments indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
