Dr. O has made significant strides in raising student achievement in Title 1 schools across Washington, D.C., Virginia, and New York City. She possesses a deep understanding of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and Virginia Standards of Learning (SOLs)
and knows how to teach these effectively to promote year-over-year student growth. Notably, her impact includes a year where she
boosted math state assessment scores for all students, including English Language Learners (ELLs) and students with
exceptionalities, advanced math scores by 19%, and math and science scores by 39% and 49%, respectively.

Her passion for teaching extends to both children and adults, driven by a commitment to the success of all students regardless of
race, ethnicity, gender, academic ability, or socio-economic and immigration status. As an immigrant herself, Dr. O understands the challenges faced by families and their children and believes that with the right support, they can achieve their full potential.
